Eryuan West Lake, also known as Dali West Lake, is located at the foothills of Fozhong Mountain in the west of Yousuo, Eryuan County. It is a plateau lake. The West Lake Scenic Area consists of six villages and one island. The Eryuan West Lake Wetland Park is home to many overwintering birds and rare birds of great ornamental value. The entire scenic area has formed the diverse characteristics of peaks, forests, villages, farmland, lakes, and island villages. Tourists can visit Dali Ancient City first, and then take a bus directly from the ancient city to visit West Lake, which is very convenient.

How to get there:
Bus route: Take the "Xiaguan-Eryuan" minibus from the west gate of Dali Ancient City and get off at Yousuo Town; or take the long-distance bus to Eryuan County at Dali Bus Station.
Self-driving route:
Take National Highway 320 in the direction of Kunming. After arriving in Dali, turn onto National Highway 214. After passing Dengchuan Town, turn left and enter the West Lake Line;
Lijiang direction Take Provincial Highway 308, enter National Highway 214 at Xionggu, arrive at Yousuo Town and drive along the West Lake Line.
