Sightseeing and Historic Sitestravelling guideline:
In front of the Dahan Gate, you can see the changing ceremony of the royal palace water gate chief. The ceremony is grand in scale, gorgeous and spectacular. The ceremony is held three times a day (each time takes 30 minutes). At the beginning of the ceremony, accompanied by the playing of traditional musical instruments, the changing of the guard slowly appeared. The two teams of guards exchanged secret codes to confirm their identities. This was followed by an 8-minute guard ceremony and a 7-minute changing of the guard ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, the guards left on patrol. During the changing of guard ceremony, 18 soldiers holding six official positions marched while beating drums and shouting high slogans. The whole process was lifelike and gave the audience a sense of solemnity and majesty.
