Coulu Island is 6.2 kilometers long from east to west, 2.19 kilometers wide from north to south, and covers an area of ​​about 14.4 square kilometers. Food: The famous delicacy of Coulu Island is the east coast yellow oyster. On the long coastline of the Minjiang River, all the oysters grow are green. Only the oysters on the east coast of Coulu Island are yellow, and they are both numerous and large. It is said that in the early Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang led his army by boat from Wuzhu Port. When crossing the east bank, he had an itchy head and scratched his scalp with scars, and kept throwing it into the river. From then on, yellow oysters appeared on the east bank. The locals use homemade pickled vegetables and yellow oysters to make soup, which tastes very good.
