Scenic spot introduction:

Xuefeng Chongsheng Zen Temple, also known as Xuefeng Temple, is known as the "No. 1 Temple in the South" and is the birthplace of Yunmen Sect and Fayan Sect among the five sects of Zen Buddhism. Located at the southern foot of Xuefeng Fenghuang Mountain in the northwest of Minhou County, it was built in the 11th year of Xiantong in the Tang Dynasty (870). Most of the existing temples were rebuilt during the Guangxu period. The temple contains Indian Sanskrit Bay-leaf Sutras and Buddha statues, which are quite precious.

How to get there:

Take the shuttle bus to Xiazhu from Fuzhou West Railway Station and pass by Xuefeng Temple. The whole journey takes more than 2 hours. Ticket: 20 yuan.
