Introduction to Kumu Temple: Kumu Temple is located a few hundred meters southeast of the temple. It was built in the 11th year of Xiantong in the Tang Dynasty (870). It is said that it was the place where the founder of the mountain stayed when he was in the mountain. There is a dead tree in the nunnery that is more than 3,000 years old. Only the main trunk is more than 3 meters high. The tree is hollow and can accommodate more than 10 people. It now enshrines the golden statue of Yicun. The inner wall of the belly of the tree contains the oldest existing woodcut inscription in my country, recording the historical facts of the Min king’s donation to build a nunnery and a pool.
