Scenic spot introduction:

The Château de Chantilly is an ancient French castle located in the heart of the largest forest in the suburbs of Paris (le massif des Trois-Forêts). It mainly consists of two castles, large and small, a castle garden, Racecourse , the Horse Racing Museum, covers an area of 7,800 hectares. The castle is built of rocks and surrounded by lakes. There are many famous monuments from the 14th to the 19th century. It is known as the fairy tale kingdom rising from the sea. Today, the Chantilly Castle is owned by the French Institute, and the Condé Museum opened in it is one of the best art galleries in France.

In addition to regularly hosting exhibitions and programs, the Château de Chantilly has also held an "International Fireworks Competition" every other year since 1987 on the garden lawn in front of the castle. The two-day competition is a grand festival for residents within a hundred kilometers around, with more than 60,000 spectators coming every day to watch the grand fireworks display.

How to get there:

Train: From Gare du Nord to Chantilly Gouvieux, the journey takes about half an hour and the one-way fare is about 6.6 euros. After getting off the train, you can walk along the forest trail for about half an hour to the castle. Taxis are also available around the train station.
