Wang Duo's former residence is the residence of Wang Duo, a great calligrapher of Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is located in Laocheng Village, Huimeng Town, Mengjin City, Henan Province, a famous town in Zhongzhou. Wang Duo became a Jinshi in the 2nd year of Ming Dynasty and became the Minister of Rites of the Ming Dynasty. He was appointed as the Crown Prince and Taibao of the Qing Dynasty, so he built an official residence. Later, due to historical changes and wars, his former residence was destroyed by the war. In November 1998, Wang Duo's former residence was restored and rebuilt according to its original appearance. It not only displays Wang Duo's calligraphy handwriting, inscriptions, and rubbings, but also displays the architectural art of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, he was awarded the title of Prince Shaobao, the official of the Ministry of Rites, and the Bachelor of Dongge University. The restored former residence of Shenbi Wang Duo consists of a 2,646-square-meter former residence and a back garden covering an area of ​​80 acres. It is a five-entry courtyard. Its architectural shape consists of the front room, living room, middle hall, back hall, and back room as the main body. The east and west wing rooms and the east and west embroidered buildings are all constructed with blue bricks and blue tiles, which overall display the majestic, spectacular and solemn cultural atmosphere of the official residences of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
