Shaobo Ancient Town in Yangzhou is famous for Xie An who saved people from floods. It is one of the thousands of historical and cultural towns in the country and has a history of more than 1,600 years. The ancient Grand Canal of the Ming and Qing Dynasties flows through Shaobo, bringing not only prosperity but also priceless cultural wealth to this place. The accumulation of more than 600 years of history has made the ancient town of Shaobo rich in beauty and outstanding people, and also left behind the legendary footprints of literati such as Sun Jue, Su Shi, Su Che, and Huang Tingjian.
