Introduction to the Gantang Tree: According to legend, Xie An of the Eastern Jin Dynasty implemented benevolent policies in the local area, and the people planted the Gantang tree as a commemoration. The old tree now in the courtyard of the old Inspection Department is also the most famous ancient tree in the town. The ancient Gantang tree is nearly 20 meters high, lush and full of vitality. According to legend, this tree blooms yellow flowers in summer, and the flowers look like osmanthus. There are three wonders - the first wonder: it is automatic without wind; the second wonder: it is flashy; the third wonder: it opens first and then closes. It is one of the famous eight sceneries of Gantang. A small sign on the tree reads: The scientific name of this tree is "Jun Qianzi" and it is more than 700 years old.
