The full name of Shenzhen Dapeng City is "Dapeng Guards Thousand Households City". Shenzhen is also known as Pengcheng. It was once a coastal defense military fortress in southern China during the Ming and Qing dynasties and has a history of resisting foreign aggression for more than 600 years. Dapengsuo City is the most complete Ming and Qing coastal defense station in the country, and is an important subject for studying the military system of the Ming Dynasty defense station.
