Introduction to Zhenwei General Palace: Zhenwei General Palace was built in the 24th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty. The entire General Palace is surrounded by a thick wall about ten feet high, giving it the style of a "general's palace". The two houses are composed of three buildings with three entrances and three rooms. The main hall has three halls and two patios. There are long corridors between each building. The ground is paved with red bricks and the walls and feet are built with blue bricks. According to historical records of the Dapeng Hakkas, the Lai family has practiced martial arts for generations since the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. There were five generals in the three generations, which is known as the "Three Generations and Five Generals" in history.
