The Juyongguan Great Wall is 20 kilometers away from the Badaling Great Wall. It has dangerous terrain and is a famous ancient pass along the Great Wall in northern Beijing.

The Juyongguan Great Wall is located in a canyon 20 kilometers north of Changping County, 60 kilometers away from Beijing and 20 kilometers away from the Badaling Great Wall. The terrain is difficult and it is an important pass of the Great Wall. Juyongguan is a famous ancient pass along the Great Wall north of Beijing. The pass was established as early as the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. It began to take shape in the Han Dynasty. After that, through the Tang, Liao, Jin, and Yuan dynasties, all the passes were set up in the Juyong Gorge.
