Scenic spot introduction:
Chongqing Jinyun Mountain, along with Sichuan Qingcheng Mountain and Emei Mountain, are known as the "Three Famous Religious Mountains in Shu". The mountain has towering peaks, lush forests and numerous historical sites. It is a nature reserve where the natural ecosystem formed by forest vegetation and its habitat is the main protected object, and is known as the "Little Emei".Attractions distribution:
Jinyun Mountain Nature Reserve is located in Beibei District, Chongqing, with a total area of 76 square kilometers. There are large areas of evergreen broad-leaved forests in the reserve, with a forest coverage rate of 96.6%. The species are rich and diverse, including 246 families, 992 genera, 1,966 species of plants and 1,605 species of animals. It is a typical subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest ecological complex species gene bank, and has high value in protection, scientific research, teaching, tourism and other comprehensive utilization.From north to south, Jinyun Mountain has Chaori Peak, Xianglu Peak , Lion Peak There are nine peaks: Juyun Peak, Yuanxiao Peak, Lianhua Peak, Pagoda Peak, Yujian Peak and Xizhao Peak. The cultural resources of Jinyun Mountain include Jinyun Temple , Hot Spring Temple, Baiyun Temple, Shaolong Temple , Fuxing Temple, Shihua Temple and other 8 ancient temples and the late Tang Stone Screen Wall ,Ming Dynasty Stone Archway , Song Dynasty stone carvings and other places of interest, including the ruins of the World Buddhist Academy Han-Tibetan Theological Seminary and Lion Peak There are also ruins of ancient villages such as the Helongyuan , Xiaoping's Former Residence , and the newly built Baiyun Temple, Shaolong Temple And other Taoist cultural parks and attractions.

How to get there:
There are express buses and public buses to Beibei from Jiefangbei, Chaotianmen, Nanping, Yangjiaping, Shapingba, etc. Then transfer to Beibei District Bus to the starting point of the mountain cableway to Jinyun Mountain.

Travel Tips
travelling guideline:
Accommodation in Jinyun Mountain is quite convenient. There are many farmhouses with reasonable prices, good accommodation and meals included. Just a few dozen yuan is enough. If you want to stay better, there is a Jinyun Hotel in Jinyun Mountain Scenic Area, which is equivalent to a two-star standard and costs 150 yuan per night. In addition, the scenic area holds the Jinyun Mountain Climbing Festival and the "Jinyun Sword Discussion" martial arts conference every year.
Tour route:
Route 1: Fitness ladder, with obvious features, you need to climb 700 steps first, but it is easy to find;
Route 2: There is a small road near the Jinyun Mountain Cableway. It is flat and reaches Baiyun Bamboo Sea From Mazhongzui, you can cross the path to the Late Tang Dynasty Screen Wall;
Route 3: Go up along the path next to Beiquan Garden property, opposite the North City Gentlemen’s Dynasty.
Best time to visit:
The best time to travel is in spring and winter. Summer is extremely hot and autumn is rainy, which are not suitable for travel.
