Scenic spot introduction:

Shaanxi North Road (Xinzha Road-Julu Section) is located in the middle of Jing'an District, Shanghai, running north-south, 1,000 meters long and 9.2 meters wide. In 1899, the Shanghai Public Settlement was expanded, and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce Bureau of the Public Settlement began to build roads in the concession. In 1914, the present-day Shaanxi North Road (Xinzha Road-Julu Road Section) was completed and named Seymour Road after British Admiral Edward Hobart Seymour. In 1943, it was renamed Qimen Road. In 1946, it was renamed Shaanxi North Road, which is still in use today.

Since its construction, North Shaanxi Road has been a high-end residential area in Shanghai, home to a large number of foreigners and celebrities. It is the famous "Foreigner Street" and "Celebrity Street" in old Shanghai.
