The Hunan Changsha Municipal Museum is a comprehensive exhibition hall displaying precious cultural relics of Changsha's history and modern revolutionary history. It is also the former residence of Comrades Mao Zedong and Yang Kaihui. It is located in the Memorial Hall of the Former Site of the Hunan District Committee of the Communist Party of China. It has an extremely rich collection of cultural relics, especially six rare treasures. It is an exhibit not to be missed by scholars, researchers and cultural relic lovers. Changsha Museum is located at No. 480 Bayi Road, covering an area of 42,000 square meters. It was originally No. 22 Qingshuitang. The Mao Zedong statue in the museum courtyard is the iconic core landscape, and the scenery around Qingshui Pond is even more beautiful. The museum is divided into several parts such as the exhibition building, the former site of Mao Yang's former residence, the gallery of Mao Zedong's poems and monuments, and the office building.
