The Banpo site is divided into three areas: residential area, pottery making area and tomb area. The residential area is the main body of the village. The Banpo people belong to the Neolithic Age, and the tools they use are mainly wooden and stone tools. Women are the main productive force among the Banpo people. They are responsible for making pottery, weaving, and raising livestock, while men are mostly engaged in fishing and hunting. The museum currently has three exhibition rooms and one heritage hall.
