Suzhou Taicang Nanyuan Park Travel Guide

Taicang City
Scenic spot introduction:
Taicang Nanyuan Park is a famous historical garden, and its Dahuange Qin Pavilion is praised by the guqin circle as the best qin pavilion in the world. Nanyuan was originally the place where Wang Xijue, the chief assistant of the Ming Dynasty, admired plum blossoms and planted chrysanthemums. In the early Qing Dynasty, painter Wang Shimin, the grandson of Wensu, specially invited Zhang Nanyuan, the master of mountain folding at that time, to preside over the construction, making Nanyuan a famous historical garden integrating gardening and painting. It is the first garden in Wuyi since the Qing Dynasty. It was later used as the former site of the Quanzhang Guild Hall of the southern Fujian folks. During the Republic of China, it was the underground activity site of the Communist Party of China. Today's South Garden is ancient, lush and green, with lotus flowers swaying on the lake and gentle ripples. It has become a resort for people to take a leisurely walk and enjoy the beautiful garden scenery.Attractions distribution:
