Pingxiang Friendship Pass Travel Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

Pingxiang Friendship Pass is one of the top ten famous passes in China and the only one among the nine that still performs customs clearance functions. Pingxiang has been an important border defense area in southwest Guangxi since ancient times, and the Friendship Pass is the largest and most important border defense on the Sino-Vietnamese border and a bridge for friendly exchanges between the Chinese and Vietnamese peoples. Historically, from the Qing Dynasty to modern times, Youyiguan has been the location of many major historical events, and the bullet holes from that year can still be seen on the wall today. This ancient Guanlou is still majestic and is a powerful "witness" that the Chinese nation defied foreign aggression, won liberation and achieved great achievements in economic construction.

Attractions distribution:

Friendship Pass is located 18 kilometers southwest of Pingxiang City. It is a tower-style building. The gate is 22 meters high. On the left is the Zuobi Mountain City Wall and on the right is the Youfu Mountain City Wall. On the arched city gate there are three characters "Youyi Pass" written by Chen Yi himself. The first floor of the corridor displays the history of the Zhennanguan Victory, the Zhennanguan Uprising and the planting of the red flag in the form of pictures. The second floor is the meeting room for senior leaders of China and Vietnam, and the third floor is the exhibition hall of China's nine famous passes.
