The former residence of Hong Xiuquan is the place where Hong Xiuquan, the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom king, lived as a teenager. Shortly after Hong Xiuquan was born in Fuyuanshui Village, Huaxian County on January 1, 1841, his family moved here to settle down, where they studied, taught, farmed and engaged in early revolutionary movements. Hong Xiuquan (1814-1864), formerly a Hakka in Huaxian County, Guangdong (now Huadu City). Hong Xiuquan was a great leader of the peasant movement in modern China. He wrote important documents such as "Yuan Dao Salvation Song", "Yuan Dao Awakening World Instructions", "Yuan Dao Awakening World Instructions" and other important documents, which laid the theoretical foundation for the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Revolution; he founded the "worship" "God will", determined to establish a fair and upright heaven on earth; the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom peasant movement he led lasted 14 years and swept 18 provinces. Its scale, duration and profound influence are unprecedented in the world.

The Hong Xiuquan Former Residence Memorial Hall is located at No. 52, Xinhua Road, Xinhua Street, Huadu District. It consists of two parts: the former residence and the memorial hall, including the private school where Hong Xiuquan studied and taught, Hong's ancestral hall, Hong Xiuquan's former residence, Hong Renxuan's former residence ruins, study pavilion, Hong's ancient well, and wall foundations. Ruins and other architectural landscapes, as well as displays of Hakka dwellings, selected Taiping documents, and folk custom exhibitions. The Hong Xiuquan Memorial Hall has a preface hall and four exhibition rooms, including a cast bronze bust statue of Hong Xiuquan and a white marble seated statue. It uses scene modeling, wood carvings, large-scale oil paintings and other forms to reflect Hong Xiuquan's pursuit of saving the country and the people and the history of leading the Taiping Revolution.

former residence : 15 yuan/person; active military personnel, disabled persons, primary and secondary school students, and seniors over 65 years old can get free tickets with certificates; seniors aged 60-64 can get half-price tickets with discount certificates.
