It has far-reaching historical and international significance.

Miyin Temple is located on the hillside of Dawei Mountain in Ningxiang. It has a mountain gate, lotus square, lotus pond, bell tower, drum tower, Hanshan Hall, Ten Thousand Buddhas Hall, Jingce Hall, Zen Hall, Ancestral Hall, Sutra Collection Hall, Zhaitang, Release Area, etc. . The main hall of the temple houses more than 12,000 giant Buddhas, and the Thousand-Armed and Thousand-Eyed Bodhisattva towers in the back hall, which is of great ornamental value. In addition, there are also historic sites such as Yousalt Stone, Longwang Well, Lion's Bank, Ancestral Pagoda, Pei Xiu's Tomb, and "Ginkgo with Sandalwood", one of the ten scenic spots in Weishan. The tour content is very rich. What is particularly worth mentioning is that Mao Zedong once stayed here, and the house remains intact to this day, making it the first choice for people to visit.

Miyin Temple belongs to the Weishan Scenic Area. The scenic area contains four main scenic spots and is quite large. Visitors can plan two or three days to visit in detail.

Tour route:

One-day tour: Changsha → Thousand Buddha Caves → Miyin Temple → Weishan Rafting or Gorge River Rafting (experience 120 minutes) → Return



Two-day tour:

D1: Changsha_Thousand Buddha Cave (visit the cave for 50 minutes) → Qingyang Lake (have lunch after visiting the lake for 60 minutes) → Miyin Temple (visit for 40 minutes, stay at Miyin at night Villa)

How to get there:

Bus route: You can take a long-distance bus in Changsha to Ningxiang, and then transfer to a passenger bus directly to Miyin Temple.

Self-driving route: Starting from Changsha, drive along the Changzhang Expressway, turn right towards Lei Feng Road/G5513, and exit from Ningxiang/Ningxiang Avenue; drive along Ningxiang Avenue, and enter S209 via Baima South Road , passing through Hengshi Town → Huangcai Town → Zuta Township, you can reach it after passing Xiaojiaao and entering X107.
