Introduction to Jincheng Gate: Jincheng Gate is the gate to the backyard of the inner palace. It is a wooden structure with glazed interlocking single eaves and a roof top. It is the second largest existing building in Xiyue Temple. It is five rooms wide, with brackets forming a system of its own. The materials are huge and the layout is sparse. Each flower is independent and stacked on top of each other. The whole building is simple and majestic.
