Tanzhe Temple was first built in the first year of Yongjia in the Western Jin Dynasty (AD 307). It was originally named "Jiafu Temple" and was named "Xiuyun Temple" by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. It has a history of nearly 1,700 years and is known as the "ancestral temple". How to get there:
By bus: Take the first-line subway Pingguoyuan Station. After exiting the station, transfer to bus No. 931 at the west bus station, which is the terminal station. On Saturdays and Sundays during the peak tourist season, there is a special tourist bus to Tanzhe Temple at the "Beijing Tourism Distribution Center" in Tiananmen West.
By car: Lianshi Expressway to Shimenying Roundabout in Mentougou District, turn left, and drive along National Highway 108 for 15 minutes; Fushi Expressway goes west to Shuangyu Roundabout in Mentougou District, turn left, and go straight to Shimenying Roundabout. It takes 15 minutes to drive along National Highway 108;
