Abbott Courtyard Introduction: Abbott Courtyard is located on the south side of the stupa and on the east side of the Three Sacred Halls of Zhaitang. The abbot's room faces north and faces south. It was originally the Amitabha Hall, but was later converted into the main room of the abbot's room. On the east and west sides of the abbot's room, there are several supporting rooms on each side. The Emperor's Palace on the east side of the courtyard was the residence of the emperors and empresses of the Qing Dynasty, so it is also called the Palace Palace.
