Scenic spot introduction:

The Gong Zizhen Memorial Hall was originally the former residence of Gong Zizhen. In 1990, it was transformed into a memorial hall displaying a brief introduction to Gong Zizhen's life and historical materials. The museum is located in Xiaomi Park, No. 16 Mapo Lane, East of Hangzhou City. Gong Zizhen was a famous thinker and writer in the Qing Dynasty. He was born into a family of officials and scholars for generations. He was profoundly accomplished in the fields of writing, exegesis, classics and history. He is the author of "Collected Works of Ding'an" and "The Complete Works of Gong Zizhen" edited by later generations.

Attractions distribution:

The main body of the memorial hall is a two-story building in the Qing Dynasty style, with five bays up and down, and a wing. It is simple and elegant, with slightly raised eaves. The four exhibition rooms in the museum display a brief introduction to Gong Zizhen's life with pictures and texts, a chronology of major events, a chronology of Gong's family, selected poems and collections of research works by later generations, etc., which are of extraordinary significance for future generations to study and understand Gong Zizhen. Gong Zizhen Memorial Hall has been listed as a municipal cultural relic protection unit.
