Shanhaiguan, known as the "No. 1 Pass in the World", is located more than 10 kilometers east of Qinhuangdao City. It is the northeastern starting point of the Ming Great Wall and covers 26 kilometers of the Great Wall. Shanhaiguan has a long cultural history. In the 14th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, King Xu Da of Zhongshan was ordered to build a pass wall here. Because it is close to the mountains and the sea, it was named Shanhaiguan.Shanhaiguan was called Yuguan, Yuguan, Linyuguan and Linluguan in ancient times. Ancient Yuguan is located 20 miles east of Funing County, with Chongshan Mountain to the north and the sea to the south. It is only a few miles apart and is very dangerous.

How to get there:
Shanhaiguan District of Qinhuangdao City is located on the north bank of the Bohai Sea, at the choke point from North China to Northeast China. It is 380 kilometers away from Beijing, 243 kilometers away from Tianjin, and 461 kilometers away from Shenyang. It has an advantageous geographical location and very convenient water, land and air transportation.
Highway: Shanhaiguan is only 17 kilometers away from the seaport area. There are many buses. You can take bus No. 6 directly from Beidaihe Railway Station to Qinhuangdao Railway Station. Shanhaiguan is 30 kilometers away from Beidaihe, and there are buses running between the two places.
Bus: There are buses or special tourist buses that go to various tourist attractions in Qinhuangdao. The main buses that go between the attractions are: 33 Road, 21 Road, 22 Road, 23 Road, 24 Road, 25 Road, 26 Road, 27 Road Road

The southeast gate of Lianfengshan Park is the small commodity distribution center in Beidaihe. All the above-mentioned small handicrafts can be purchased here.
