How to get there:
By airplane: Penang International Airport is located in the southeast corner of the island, about 30 minutes' drive from George Town.
Urban transportation: Rapid Penang is the main bus operator in Penang. The central station in George Town is called KOMTAR, and it is also the tallest building in the city. Another major bus terminal is located at the Pengkalan Weld (Weld Quay) ferry port. All buses departing from the port will stop at Komtar. Foreign tourists can purchase a Rapid Passport (RM30) and take any Rapid bus for free within a week.
