Kek Lok Si Temple Introduction: Kek Lok Si Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia. It was founded in 1890 by Monk Miao Lian of Gushan Temple in Fuzhou. Walking past souvenir shops, life-release ponds and fish ponds, you can see the seven-story and 30-meter-high Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda. It is said that the top of the tower is Burmese style, the bottom of the tower is Chinese style, and the body of the tower is Thai style.
How to get there: Take bus 201, 203, 204, 206, 306 or u502 at the bus center station Komtar in Georgetown or the station near the ferry port, and tell the driver to get off at Kek Lok Si Temple station.
Opening hours: 09:00-18:00
Tickets: Free. Climbing the tower is 2RM.
