Beijing Western Zhou Dynasty Yandu Ruins Museum is a historical and cultural museum that combines ancient cultural sites and cultural relics display. The museum is built outside the east wall of the Shang and Zhou Ruins in Liuli River. The exhibits in the museum include bronzes, ceramics, jade and stone wares, and lacquer wood wares. In addition to many cultural relics such as oracle bones, it is especially characterized by four tombs and chariot and horse pits preserved on the original site.

The Western Zhou Dynasty Yandu Ruins Museum covers an area of ​​18,000 square meters. It has an exhibition hall, a cultural relics library, two tombs, and two chariot and horse pits. The exhibition hall has a construction area of ​​3,000 square meters. The name of the museum was inscribed by Mr. Su Bingqi, a senior in the archaeological field. With "Splendid Ancient Yandu Culture" as the basic display, the exhibition is divided into five parts: the ancient history and culture of Beijing, the ancient city of Yandu in the Western Zhou Dynasty, the tombs of the nobles of Yandu, the exquisite cultural relics of Yandu, and the changes in the five capitals of the Yan Kingdom. The bronzes, jade, pottery, original porcelain, agate, lacquerware, oracle bones and other artistic treasures reproduce the vicissitudes of the ancient Yan Kingdom's capital city walls and mysterious and extravagant noble tombs over three thousand years.

How to get there:

By bus: Take 835 or 834 from Tianqiao and get off at Shang and Zhou Ruins Station. After getting off the bus, walk 1.5 kilometers along the entrance of Dongjialin Village.

By car: Take the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, take the Doudian exit, drive along National Highway 107 for 3 kilometers, and turn left into Dongjialin Village.
