Scenic spot introduction:

Wufu Town has been known as the "Origin of Zou and Lu" since ancient times, and has produced numerous celebrities in the past dynasties. It is said that as early as the Jin Dynasty, there was an official with the surname Jiang, so it got its name. The ancient town is located in the southeast of Wuyishan City. Its original name was Wufuli. It began in the middle of the Jin Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,700 years. It is located among high mountains and ten miles of lotus ponds, and is also known as the "Land of Lotus". Wufu Town is the hometown of the famous poet Liu Yong, three talented men of the Liu family, the five sages of the Hu family and Zhu Xi.

Wufu Ancient Town has two main landscapes, one is Ziyang Tower, the former residence of Zhu Xi, and the other is Xingxian Ancient Street. The main attractions include Xingxian Academy, Zhuzi Lane, Lianshi Jiexiaofang, Liu Family Ancestral Hall, Zhuzi Shecang, Ziyang Tower Ruins, Zhu Xi’s hand-planted trees, Zhu Xi’s statue, etc.
