Introduction to the Liu Family Ancestral Hall: The Liu Family Ancestral Hall was first built in the fourth year of Jianyan (1130) in the Southern Song Dynasty. When it was first built, the temple was located in Fuqian Village, alongside Pingshan Academy. It was destroyed by war in the early Yuan Dynasty. In the sixth year of Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty, it was moved to its current location. Zhu Xi once wrote two couplets praising Liu Zhai's merits. The stone carvings of "Song Confucians" and "Liu Family Ancestral Hall" are inlaid on the top of the ancestral door. The brick carvings on the gate tower are exquisite and the ancient style still exists.
