Yanshan Yuxian Lake Travel Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

Bathing in the Fairy Lake, the lake is clear and green, like a bright night pearl scattered in the southwest mountains. It is surrounded by green mountains, lush green trees, luxuriant vegetation and fresh air. The allure of Yuxian Lake is not only the jade-belt-like lake and mountains, the lake where fisherman are boating to get lost in the distance, but also the green islands in the vast mist. On the island, sand gulls gather and golden scales swim. The three ethnic minority villages of Yi, Miao and Zhuang are scattered on both sides of the island. The buildings in the villages are simple and elegant, and the ethnic customs are rich and moving. The scenic spot is located on the south side of National Highway 323, 42 kilometers west of Yanshan County. It consists of the main scenic spot of Yuxian Lake and four areas including Tinghu, Ashe, Ameng and Longsuo, with a total area of ​​109 square kilometers.

Attractions distribution:

Yuxian Lake is 1506 meters above sea level. The lake is basin-shaped, 2750 meters long from east to west and 2250 meters wide from north to south. The water area is 2.27 square kilometers. There are 3 small islands in the lake. The average depth of the lake is 7 meters, and the deepest point is 14 meters. The main attractions in the lake area are: Big Pearl Island, Little Pearl Island, Carp Island, Whale Island, Longshan, Tongtian Cave and three ethnic minority villages of Haizibian, Xintang and Jieyinpo.
