Yongle Palace in Ruicheng County, Yuncheng is a Taoist temple dedicated to Lu Dongbin, one of the "Eight Caves of Immortals" in ancient Chinese Taoism. The palace was built in the Yuan Dynasty. It is one of the earliest existing Taoist temples in my country and the most complete one currently preserved. Yongle Palace in Ruicheng County, Yuncheng was originally located in Yongle Town, Cheng County, Shanxi Province. Due to the construction of the Sanmenxia Water Conservancy Project in 1959, it was moved to the east side of Longquan Village, 3 kilometers north of Ruicheng County, Shanxi Province. The layout of Yongle Palace is sparse, with the central axis running from south to north. They are Gongmen, Longhu Hall (also known as Wuji Gate), Sanqing Hall (also known as Wuji Hall), Chunyang Hall, and Chongyang Hall. Except for the palace gate, which was built in the Qing Dynasty, the rest are all built in the Yuan Dynasty. The thick brackets and simple and clear architectural carvings in the courtyard are layered on top of each other, showing the typical architectural style of the Yuan Dynasty.The murals of Yongle Palace are covered in the four main halls of Dragon and Tiger Hall, Sanqing Hall, Chunyang Hall and Chongyang Hall, with a total area of 960 square meters. These murals were painted in the second year of Taiding in the Yuan Dynasty. How to get there:
