Scenic spot introduction:

The ancient city of Dali in Yunnan is the capital of the ancient Nanzhao and Dali kingdoms on the Erhai Lake in Cangshan Mountain. Many people regard this place as a "Utopia". People work at sunrise, rest at sunset, cultivate flowers and plants, bask in the sun, enjoy a slow-paced life, and have simple and elegant traditional buildings. Dali attracts tourists from all over the world. People flocked in to see what they were all about.
The current ancient city of Dali was restored on the basis of Yangjumei City in the early Ming Dynasty. The city is square in shape, with four gates, a tower on top, and an acropolis below. Three streams in the north and south serve as natural barriers. There are five streets running through the city from south to north, and eight streets and alleys running through it from west to east. Because of its checkerboard layout, it is also known as "Nine Streets and Eighteen Alleys". The whole city has uniform clear tile roofs and cobblestone walls, and the Bai people's customs are traditional and simple. Looking down at the ancient city of Dali from Cangshan Mountain, the classic buildings are lined up in a row, majestic and majestic, giving the ancient city an alluring charm.
As the most popular destination for domestic tourism today, life in the ancient city is naturally rich and colorful. During the day, you can visit the most prosperous pedestrian street in the ancient city and buy some small things with ethnic characteristics. When you are tired or hungry, you can eat unique local snacks at the roadside snack bars; you can also stroll into the open courtyard of a local home. I went to the door and chatted with the old Bai woman who was doing handiwork about family affairs. At night, like the locals, wander around Foreigner Street and Renmin Road, pick a specialty bar or small cafe, listen to impromptu performances by resident singers or tourists, and find your own share of wine glasses and music. Lively and fragrant.
