Introduction to the Marshal's Mansion: The Dali City Museum is a courtyard with three entrances. It was originally the marshal's mansion of the rebel army Du Wenxiu, and was called the President's Marshal's Mansion. There are three main exhibits in the museum: Du Wenxiu Uprising Exhibition, Historical and Cultural Exhibition and Forest of Steles. The exhibits are relatively rich, mostly unearthed locally, including pottery, porcelain, jade, bronze, stone carvings, calligraphy and paintings, etc. After you are tired of walking around Fuxing Road, you might as well come in and learn about the history of Dali.
