The Cherry Blossom Valley in Tengchong, Yunnan is regarded as the most wild hot spring in Yunnan and is also a microcosm of the natural landscape of Gaoligong Mountain. It brings together Gaoligong Mountain's subtropical broad-leaved primeval forests, natural hot springs, waterfalls, streams, strange rocks and other unique geological and landform natural landscapes. Different plants grow in Sakura Valley at different altitudes. From the high-altitude coniferous forests on the top of the mountain to the ferns and vines in the river valleys, as well as the thousand-year-old broad-leaved giant trees on the rocks, it can be said to be a treasure trove of nature. Especially in March and April every year, wild cherry blossoms bloom all over the mountains and fields. Sakura Valley is located in Shuangpo Village, Beihai Township, 26 kilometers away from the county seat. There are more than 200 kinds of rare plants growing in the valley, and the national first-class protected plant Cynophylla can be seen everywhere. At the same time, the scenic spot has two primeval forest hot springs, "Fenglu Pool" and "Yunbi Spring", as well as cross-river zip lines, high-altitude suspension bridges, Longjiang rafting, rock climbing, rock abseiling, caravans, large swings, etc. for tourists to choose from. Winter cherry blossoms bloom from late November to December every year, and spring cherry blossoms bloom gradually from low altitude to high altitude in March next year; the rare large tree rhododendron blooms around the Spring Festival every year, and the flowering period lasts for half a month.

How to get there:
Bus route: Take the shuttle bus from Kunming Western Passenger Terminal, Dali Xiaguan Passenger Terminal, or Baoshan Passenger Terminal to Tengchong, and charter a bus after arriving in Tengchong County.
Self-driving route: Leave the Baoteng Expressway from the Tengchong exit, pass through the county, and turn into XM47 in the direction of Mayu Valley (Angsura Hot Spring Village)/Sakura Valley/Tengchong Angsana Hot Spring Village.
