Yuxi Hongta Industrial Tourism Park is based on the world-famous Hongta Group and combined with Hongta, a cultural relic protection unit in Yuxi. It is an industrial tourist attraction integrating office, scientific research, production, gardens and tourism. The park is colorful with red flowers, green trees, gurgling water. One of the eight scenic spots in the Qing Dynasty, "White Tower Sunset", has transformed into today's "Red Tower Dawn". Hongta Industrial Park is located at No. 118 Hongta Avenue and was founded in 1956. The park is divided into several parts such as the central landscape square, the garden-style factory area, Hongtashan Park, and the Tobacco Cultural Center. The ancient pagoda from the Yuan Dynasty standing on the top of the mountain has become the iconic landscape of the entire park and even Yuxi. Visitors can climb up here to take in the views, visit the cigarette production process, and learn about Chinese tobacco culture and celebrities’ stories. They can also get close to nature in the park where mountains and rivers blend, or visit the Yuan Dynasty ancient kiln ruins next to the factory and climb the top of Qiangua Mountain. .

1. Hongta Industrial Tourism currently does not accept individual tourists. If you are an individual or self-driving tourist, you can register at various travel agencies or at the Hongta Industrial Tourism Reception Center of Hongta Hotel. You can visit after forming a group.

2. The tourism reception department is located at Mingyan Pavilion at the foot of Hongta Mountain. All travel-related matters can be consulted here.

Tour route:

Hongtashan Park → Tobacco Culture Center → Central Landscape Square → Hongta Group Headquarters Building and Exhibition Hall → Production Line → Hongta Technology Center → Tourist Reception Center to experience hand-rolling cigarettes, about 1.5 → 2.5 hours.
