Introduction to Qibao Square Cake: Qibao Square Cake originated from Fan Zhongyan, a famous scholar in the Song Dynasty, and has the meaning of wishing for a good career. When Fan Zhongyan was a child, his family was poor and he had porridge for three meals a day. Every winter night when he was studying, he would put the porridge on a plate and freeze it, then cut it into pieces, and eat one piece when he was hungry. When his classmate and friend Shi Haiqing learned about this, he asked someone to use glutinous rice flour to imitate Fan Zhongyan's making method and make glutinous rice cakes. Today's Qibao Square Cake is handed down from this.
