Introduction to the Polish Catholic Church: In 1906, Polish believers raised funds to build the Stanislav Catholic Church on Dongdazhi Street, Nangang, Harbin, and it was completed in 1907. In 1966, when the Cultural Revolution began, the church was occupied by the Red Guard rebels. The unique bell tower was knocked down and the organ was destroyed. In 1967, a four-story building was added to the original bell tower, and the chapel behind it was also divided into three floors. It became the Fendou Private Middle School, and later changed to No. 71 Middle School. In 1992, the church property was returned to the Catholic Church after being transferred several times. At that time, only the "T"-shaped building remained in the church, and the separated chapel became a water room and kitchen.
