Hanzhong Shimen Plank Road Scenic Area is known as the "Hometown of Plank Road in China" and the "Pearl of Water Conservancy in the Northwest". It is also the hometown of the legendary Bao Si. The scenic area has green trees and rugged rocks. It not only has majestic water conservancy landscapes and vast water scenery, but also has profound cultural and historical relics. The world's earliest man-made tunnel and national treasures of culture and art are all well preserved. It's shocking here. Shimen Plank Road Scenic Area is located at Baogukou, Mian County, about 18 kilometers away from Hanzhong City. The scenic spot is based on Shimen Reservoir and has the former site of Shimen, Shanhe Weir, Shimen Thirteenth Grade Cliff Carvings, Baoxie Plank Road, Jitou Pass, Shanhe View and other attractions. The lake's aquatic resources, such as giant salamanders, soft-shell turtles, and egrets, are the most precious and are affectionately called the "Life Bank" and "Mother Bank" by the people of Hanzhong.
