Introduction to the Cloud Ladder: The Cloud Ladder is located above the Qingyu Gorge, one of the wonders of Baiyu Mountain. It resembles a ladder hanging high in the clouds, so it is called the Cloud Ladder, also known as the "Thirty-Six Steps", which implies the meaning of "foot steps". It means "ladder to the blue sky". There are one hundred and thirty-six steps in the Cloud Staircase. It is a stone platform carved on a long cliff. It is about one meter wide, steep and dangerous, with a slope of more than 70 degrees. When tourists climb on it, they will feel as if "mountains rise from people and clouds arise from horses' heads" as mentioned in Li Bai's poem, which is often daunting for the timid.
