Introduction to five-color rice: Five-color rice is made of glutinous rice soaked in maple leaf juice, purple blue grass juice (called "Ke Zhan" in Zhuang), red grass juice (called "Ke Xie" in Zhuang), and yellow flower juice. (called "Huamai" in Zhuang language), they are dyed in black, purple, red, and yellow respectively, and steamed with the original color (i.e. white), with complete color, fragrance and flavor.
