Villa introduction: Beidaihe District is the second largest villa area in China after Lushan Mountain. By 1949, a total of 719 villas for Chinese and foreigners had been built in Beidaihe District, with more than 100 existing ones. Most of these buildings are characterized by red roofs, plain walls, and large cloisters, and are a collection of various European and American architectural forms. The modern architectural complex in Beidaihe was announced as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Famous villas in Beidaihe include: Swiss Qiaohe Villa (also known as Swiss Miss House), Wufeng House, Wang Zhenmin Villa, Dongjin Caoyan Villa, Dongling Church, Chinese School, etc.
