Introduction to Zhai Palace: It is the place where the emperor fasted and stayed when he offered sacrifices to the land. Emperors Shunzhi, Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong and Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty stayed here. The main building faces east from the west and consists of three halls: west, south and north. It was first built in the ninth year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1530) and rebuilt in the eighth year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1730).
