Introduction to Duobao Pagoda: The most representative ancient pagoda building in Korea, it was designated as a national treasure in 1962. It is 10.4 meters high and stands on the east side of the courtyard between Daxiong Hall and Zixia Gate. It is an octagonal tower. The tower is built on a "ten" shaped base, surrounded by stone steps and quadrangular guardrails. The construction craftsmanship of Duobao Pagoda is meticulous and exquisite, and it still retains its original style after long years of erosion. The exquisite craftsmanship can be regarded as the essence of the art works of the Unified Silla period in the 8th century. The four corners, octagons and circles are very cleverly blended together to form a unique architectural style.
