Jambay Lhakang Introduction: Jambay Lhakang was built in the seventh century by King Songtsen Gampo of Tibet and is the oldest temple in the west. The Jabe Festival is held here every October or November. The main hall of Jianpei Temple is dedicated to Maitreya Buddha. The hidden inner hall next to the main hall is dedicated to Puba Vajra Mandala. There are yellow stupas at the four corners of the temple. There are many crows in the temples in Bumthang area, which is different from other areas. This is one of the important indicators. The strange thing is that crows are only seen in temples, but not in other areas.
