Tamshing Monastery Introduction: The ancient murals in Tamshing Monastery are famous for their lack of records. It takes about an hour to walk forward from Gurje Temple and cross the Chamkhar River to reach Tamsin Temple. Tamshin Temple was built in 1501 by the founder Pema Lingpa. It is an academy that provides monks with the "Pema Lingpa doctrine". The temple retains many ancient murals with exquisite paintings by Patriarch Pema Lingba, which is like an art museum.
