Entry and Exit: Bhutan and China have not established diplomatic relations, so it is impossible to apply for a visa through the embassy. Even if you sign up for a tour in China, the final visa application is still completed by the Bhutanese travel agency in Thimphu. After contacting the Bhutan travel agency, confirming the itinerary and making full payment, the Bhutan travel agency can start applying for a visa. The Bhutanese travel agency handles the Bhutanese visa. Tourists only need to provide a color scan of the passport information page to the travel agency. The visa fee is USD 20 per person. When the travel agency gets the visa, it will send a scanned copy to the tourist, so be sure to print it out and carry it with you. When you arrive at Paro Airport by plane, you need to show a copy of your visa when clearing customs. The customs will formally issue a visa on the tourist's passport based on the copy.
