Introduction to Guyuetang: One of the ancient courtyards of Qinghua Garden, built during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, it is separated by an alley from the west courtyard of Gongziting Hall. This independent small courtyard has a total construction area of about 670 square meters. There are two white stone lions in front of the door. The most distinctive hanging flower door is still well preserved. When Guyue Hall was first built, it was a special study room for the owner of the garden. After the founding of Tsinghua University, it became a teacher's dormitory. The courtyard is quiet and elegant. Liang Qichao, Zhu Ziqing and others once lived here. In 1928, when Tsinghua University first admitted girls, Guyuetang was opened as a dormitory for Tsinghua girls. Mr. Wang Jianjun wrote a poem: "Guyue Hall has changed several times, and in the past years it was a gathering of heroes. Once women were banned, the school opened, and twice it was full of flowers and the moon was bright." Guyue Hall is currently the seat of the school's general affairs office and foreign affairs department.
