travelling guideline:
1. Enter from the west gate and you can go directly to the lotus pond described by Zhu Ziqing. Then walk east along the road and you can see Second school gate Tsinghua University Auditorium If you go east along the way, you can see the magnificent new Tsinghua Academy .
2. Tsinghua University and Peking University are two famous universities facing each other and can be visited together; the historical site of the Old Summer Palace is also located opposite the west gate of Tsinghua University.

How to get there:
Bus route: Take Bus No. 331, 365, 375, 429, 498, 508, 562, 579, 601, 614, 681, 696, 697, 699, 717, 982, Special 18, Special 19, Special 4, Special 6, Yuntong Line 105 and get off at the West Gate of Tsinghua University; Take Subway Line 4 and get off at the East Gate of Peking University.
Self-driving route: Take the Fourth Ring Road to Baofusi Bridge and turn onto Zhongguancun East Road.

The campus is open to the public from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 13:30-16:30 p.m. every day during weekends, statutory holidays, and school winter and summer vacations (see school notices for specific dates). If there are important events on campus, the campus will be closed for visits.
