Introduction to the Wenwen Building: The Wenwen Building was built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. On the front of the building is a plaque inscribed "Famous for Literature" written by the governor of Yunnan in the 40th year of Kangxi (1701 AD). The building is a two-story dysprosium building with a mountain-style earthen wood and stone structure. It has typical Bai architectural features. The current building was rebuilt on April 29, 1999.
